Iron Descent

Named for the elemental journey it embodies, Iron Descent is a bracelet composed of 6mm hematite beads, each one polished to a subtle metallic sheen that reflects the quiet resilience of iron. At its center rests a single 6mm Aletai meteorite bead, framed by two stainless steel accents. The contrast is intentional, earthbound symmetry surrounding a fragment of the cosmos.

The name speaks to the meteorite’s origin: a descent not just through atmosphere, but through time. Torn from the crust of a long-lost planetary body and cast adrift in the asteroid belt, the Aletai meteorite travelled for millions of years before entering Earth’s atmosphere in a blaze of impact. Its nickel-iron composition, forged in the violent processes of planetary formation, links it to the hematite and steel that surround it, each bead a different chapter in iron’s cosmic lineage.

Its high iron content makes it vulnerable to oxidation, so it requires extra care. Store it in a dry place, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, and gently wipe it after wear to preserve its unique luster.
